KickATS ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use kickats.com and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Resume and job data you submit: pasted text, uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, TXT), and job posting URLs or descriptions you provide for optimization.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your data
- Generate your ATS-optimized resume preview and downloadable files.
- Process one-time payments through Stripe.
- Maintain service security and fix errors.
We do not sell your resume or personal information to third parties for marketing.
Temporary storage and deletion
Your optimized resume is stored temporarily on our servers only until you download both the PDF and Word files. After both downloads complete, we delete your session data from our systems. We do not maintain a long-term resume archive.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
- OpenAI — AI text processing for resume optimization. Submitted resume and job text is sent to generate your output.
Security
We use HTTPS and limit access to uploaded content. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; use the service at your own discretion for sensitive information.
Your choices
You choose what to paste or upload. Do not include information you are not comfortable submitting. Contact us if you have questions about data handling before paying.
Children
KickATS is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
